Garibaldi is home to many businesses, the lumber industry,
commercial and charter fishing, seafood processing, recreational sports
and more. The Port of Garibaldi encompasses the cities of Bay City,
Garibaldi and Rockaway Beach.

Regular Board Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm in the Port Conference Room, unless otherwise noticed. Notices are posted at the Port Office and the Post Office.

COMMERCIAL AVE. WHARF PROJECT
Port has received a $1.5MM TIGER grant, a $1.7MM award
from ConnectOregonIV and a $3.0MM award from U.S.
Commerce (EDA) to re-build the Commercial Ave. wharf. Bergerson
Construction began work on the new wharf November 1, 2013.

RV PARK VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
The Port is currently soliciting volunteer applications for RV Park
Hosts. Information can be found here
and submitted to the Port Office.
COMMUNITY RECEPTION PLANNED TO INTRODUCE PORT OF GARIBALDI PORT MANAGER CANDIDATES
The Port of Garibaldi is hosting a reception to introduce the three finalists for the Port Manager position. The reception will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. – 7:30 P.M., at the Garibaldi House Inn and Suites, 502 Garibaldi Avenue, Garibaldi, Oregon.
The finalists for the position are Andrea Riner, from Portland; John Hanken, from St. Helens; and Michael Saindon, from Tillamook. The candidates will participate in a comprehensive interview process, and have the opportunity to tour port properties and meet the citizens from within the Port district. The Port Manager position became vacant when former Port Manager, Kevin Greenwood accepted the position of Port Manager for Port of Newport earlier this year. Everyone is invited to attend the community reception to meet the three candidates for the Port Manager position.
